Ganja-La Chuli (Naya Kanga) - 18 days

Ganjala ChuliFormerly known as Ganja La Chuli, as a Naya Kanga (5,844 m) rises to the west of Ganja La, and is a popular but difficult mountain to climb. The normal route to this peak is via the snowy north–East Ridge. It is not yet clear who climbed this summit first. The most important reward of climbing Naya Kanga is the spectacular view of mountains in or near Tibet.

Itinerary in Details

Days 01 : 

Arrive in Kathmandu airport, transfer to hotel. O/N at hotel.

Days 02 :

Kathmandu valley excursion, necessary preparation and briefing. O/N at hotel.

Days 03 :

Kathmandu drive to Dhunche by regular bus (1950m) O/N at teahouse.

Days 04 :

Trek to Syabru (2200m) O/N at teahouse.

Days 05 :

Trek to Lama Hotel (2500m) O/N at teahouse.

Days 06 :

Trek to Langtang (3100m) O/N at teahouse.

Days 07 :

Trek to Kyangching Gompa (3750m) O/N at teahouse.

Days 08 :

Excursion to Tserko Ri (5033m) O/N at teahouse.

Days 09 :

Trek to Ngegang (Ganja-La Base Camp - 4400m) O/N at camp.

Days 10 :

Naya Kanga peak summit (5844m) O/N at camp.

Days 11 :

Reserve day. O/N at camp.

Days 12 :

Trek to Keldang via Ganja-La (5122m). O/N at camp.

Days 13 :

Trek to Dukpu (4023m) . O/N at camp.

Days 14 :

Trek to Tarke Ghyang (2800m) O/N at camp.

Days 15 :

Trek to Kakani. O/N at camp.

Days 16 :

Trek to Malamchipul Bazzar & drive back to Kathmandu. O/N at hotel.

Days 17 :

Kathmandu valley excursion, shopping to pick up last minute souvenir. O/N at hotel.

Days 18 :

Drive to airport for flying your own destination.
