Ghorepani Poonhill Trek is situated in the
Foothills of Annapurna region with the viewpoint on Poon
Hill offering the matchless paramount of trekking in
Nepal. This Trek offers you most magnificent sceneries
of mountains making you walk through attractive villages
occupied by the Gurung, dense rhododendron forests full
of birds and deep sub-tropical valleys. Prize moment of
this trek is when you climb Poon Hill and find one of
the most spectacular views of mountains on Earth in the
gloom of sunrise; this trek gives utmost satisfaction to
the lovers of nature with its variety of beautiful
landscapes.

Day 01 :
|
Arrival
Kathmandu airport transfer to
selective hotel |

Day 02 :
|
Drive or flight from Kathmandu to
Pokhara – leisure day |
|
Day 03 : |
After breakfast one and half-hours
drive from Pokhara to Naya Pul
crossing a bridge with 30 minutes
walk reaching Birethanti the check
post for trek. Start the 4 hour trek
to Tirkhedhunga (1577m). |

Day 04 : |
Tirkhedhunga to Ghorepani (2855m.): A steep
ascends up to Ulleri and gradually ascending
up to Ghorepani takes about 7 hours. You
will walk whole day through dense forest of
Rhododendron, oak trees and bamboo grooves
watching beautiful rhododendron and orchid
flowers. You will certainly enjoy the
chipping birds and butterflies. |

Day 05 : |
Ghorepani Poon hill to Tadapani
(2540m.): Early morning (time
depending on the month) hike to Poon
Hill (3193m.) to view the beautiful
sun rise and colorfulmountains; Mt.
Annapurna South 7219m., Mt.
Dhaulagiri 8167m., Tent Peak, Thapa
Peak, Hiun Chuli 6441m., Annapurna
III 7855m., Annapurna II 7937m.,
Annapurna - IV 7525 m,Mt. Lamjung
6931m., and many other peaks in
Dhaulagiri and Annapurna ranges.
After coming back to Ghorepani for
breakfast we shall commence our 4
hours descending trek to Tadapani
(2540m) where on the way you can
enjoy the panoramic Mountain View
and flora faunas on the trail. |

Day 06 : |
Tadapani to Ghandrung (1951m.): This
day is simply the short day downhill
trekking all the way to Ghandrung a
beautiful Gurung village with its
rich culture and tradition. Most of
the male from this village are the
members of brave Gorkha Armies of
Britian and India. The consistent
view of various mountains peak is
available here too! |

Trek Ghandruk to Nayapul and drive to Pokhara |

Drive of fly to Kathamndu |

participants meet and end the trek in
Kathmandu. Lodging of your choice and
selection in Kathmandu and Pokhara can be
arranged for each participant on request
prior to your arrival in Nepal. The cost of
this package can be set with or without this
facility. To extend your trip for any other
adventure is at your choice which could be
organized at your discretion.
There
are daily flights service between Kathmandu
and Pokhara. It only 30 minute flight.
