Day 1

After breakfast, you’ll visit the UNESCO World Heritage sites of Kathmandu city. A professional TREKKING MART city tour guide will show you today to Swayambhu, Kathmandu Durbar Square, Pashupatinath, and Boudhanath. Some of these places date back over 2000 years and are impressive works of architectural beauty. Pashupatinath is the most sacred place in all of Nepal with over 490 temples. The kings resided in Kathmandu’s Durbar Square surrounded by amazing temples. Buddhists found solace at both Swayambhu and Boudhanath Stupas that date back centuries.

Day 2

Today’s journey leaves the ancient capital of Kathmandu to explore two other places that were once their own kingdom: Bhaktapur Durbar Square and Patan Durbar Square. These places were built first by the Licchavi kings and later the Malla dynasties. They created incredible royal places and constructed sublime temples that reflected their devotion to their faith. Patan especially contains both Buddhist and Hindu temples including the famed Golden Temple in Patan. The final UNESCO World Heritage Site is the ancient village of Changu Narayan with the oldest Hindu Temple in the Kathmandu Valley dating back over 800 years. It's quiet streets are lined with shops of craftsmen making unique pieces from both stone and wood.
