Ganja La Pass Trek

Ganja La pass is a prominent and famous pass connecting Langtang and Helambu but not a normal route of every trekker. Only trekkers of strenuous adventure dare to attempt this route. It is a 3 to 4 days trek with no Tea House or other facilities available making your bag pack heavier while walking, you have to sleep at tented camps only. From the pass the views across the valley to the peaks of the Langtang Himal are particularly stunning. At far distance you can see Shishapangma, the only 8000 meters peak in Tibet. After crossing the pass we reach to Tarkeghayang largest settlements of Tamang people in Helambu. The trek passes through some beautiful forests and very interesting villages on route giving you opportunity to meet homes of Brahmins, Tamangs and Sherpa people of Nepal. This place is adorned with scenic majesty and pleasant climate as well as a long history of Buddhism culture and ancient tradition of Tamang and Sherpas.

Type of trek	Even this is one of the most popular trekking region in Nepal there are range of teahouse available before Pass while camping required for 3/4 nights therefore we recommended fully tended camp.
Required fitness	This trip involves strenuous level trekking that requires 4-8 hours walking in a day uphill, downhill and a challenging pass. You need to be physically fit and accept hard glacier pass.

Itinerary in Details

Day 01 :	Arrival in Kathmandu airport and transfer to airport
Day 02 :	Early morning drive to Saybrubasi
Day 03 :	Trek from Syabrubasi to Lama Hotel 2380m.
Day 04 :	Trek from Lama Hotel to Langtang Village
Day 05 :	Trek from Langtang Village to Kyanjin Ghompa
Day 06 :	Kyanjin Ghompa acclimatization day
Day 07 :	Trek from Kyanjin Ghompa to Ngenang- 4000m/camp.
Day 08 :	Ngenang- Crossing Ganja La pass 5106m– Keldang 4,280m. Ganja – La pass is the connection way between Langtang and Helambu. For 3/4 days there are no lodge facilities, threrefore we have to be fully self sufficient. Camp
Day 09 :	Trek from Keldang to Dukpu (4080m). Camp
Day 10 :	Trek from Dukpu to Tarke Gyang
Day 11 :	Trek from Terek Gyang to Sermathang
Day 12 :	Trek from Sermathang to Melamche Bazzar
Day 13 :	Drive from Melamche Bazaar to Kathmandu
Day 14 :	Transfer to airport to fly your onward destination
