Jungle safari in Chitwan is one of the most daring activities in Nepal, based in the heart of the dense forest. This tour addresses our visitors’ fascination with the abundance of wild animals Nepal plays home to.
The tour starts from the cultural, religious and political hub of the Kathmandu valley and extends to the captivating jungle of Chitwan national park. Over the course of just four days you’ll get to take part in a wealth of unforgettable activities including taking a trek through the traditional Tharu village, canoeing and visiting an elephant breeding center to name but a few.

At 7am, we’ll start driving to Chitwan national park. Upon arrival, we’ll transfer you to your chosen hotel before you meet with one of our professional guides. Following a short break we’ll begin our trek to the traditional Tharu village nearby. That evening, we’ll enjoy the stunning sunset and witness the wonderful cultural dance of Tharu.

After morning breakfast, we’ll take a canoe trip on the Rapti River and visit the elephant breeding centre. This centre was created to preserve the ever-decreasing elephant population in Nepal. In the afternoon we’ll take an elephant-back safari penetrating deep into the national park.

Breakfast will be followed with visiting an elephant bathing base on the Rapti River. After this entertaining bath, we’ll go for a jungle walk inside the national park. Claimed to be one of the most dangerous touring experiences in Nepal, you’ll be accompanied with one of our professional nature guides. Enjoy the truly amazing wild habitat and stay overnight in Chitwan.

For those early rises we offer an early morning bird watching tour. Chitwan is the home to more than 500 species of bird including the Chestnut-capped Babbler, Emerald Dove, Brown Crake and Hawk-eagle. After breakfast, we’ll start our drive back to Kathmandu. En-route you’ll see fast-flowing rivers and rustic villages along with much more of Nepal’s natural beauty.
