Druk Path Trekking

Trip Overview

Druk Path Trekking is an excellent choice for those with a tight schedule. We take a short four-day trek crossing the chain of mountains which separates two districts, Paro (2,200m) & Thimphu (2,350m) or vice versa. Druk Path Trekking is a classic walk along high, windy ridges, past ruined forts, which long ago guarded against Tibetan invasions.

Although the route is sparsely inhabited there are wonderful lakes teeming with fish and the area is also famous for its spectacular rhododendron forests which bloom in springtime. The views of the Himalayas are best seen in late autumn and winter.
